Auction of Motorcycles Removed from Use - National Child Protection Authority
The National Child Protection Authority invites bids from interested buyers for the auction of three motorcycles that have been removed from use.
The three motorcycles available for auction can be inspected at the premises of the National Child Protection Authority (No. 330, Thalawathugoda Road, Madiwela, Sri Jayawardenepura) during working hours on weekdays from 19th Feb 2025 to 28th Feb 2025 during 10.00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.
Interested bidders should obtain the relevant application form from the Authority's Accounts Division, fill it out, and submit it in a sealed envelope, with the respective motorcycle number clearly mentioned on the left corner of the envelope. Separate applications should be submitted for each motorcycle. Sealed bids must be placed in the designated box at the Accounts Division on or before February 28, 2025. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000/- will be charged for each bid submission.
Deposit Details:
- Non-refundable deposit: Rs. 500/-
- Refundable deposit: Rs. 500/-
The bidding process will close on 28th February 2025, at 4:00 p.m and the highest bidder for each motorcycle will be awarded the purchase. Bid opening will take place on 3rd March 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Child Protection Authority. The final decision regarding the sale will rest with the Authority’s Sales Committee. The minimum reserve prices will be based on the valuations determined by the Technical Evaluation Committee, appointed under Financial Regulation 770 (4) (a).
